Arroz Con Pollo Pepper Plant

Not a sweet pepper, but not a hot pepper once you scrape out the seeds. This habanero-style pepper is used to season Cuban dishes. While the seed packet says 80 days to maturity, our experience is that these peppers take longer than most to mature. I’ll be honest, these super cute peppers were not our favorite ever, but perhaps that’s because we don’t really make Cuban dishes. We can see where the smoky flavor would be enjoyable, but it’s not our style. If you appreciate the habanero flavor without the heat, this just may be the pepper for you!

Grown with seeds from Baker Creek Seeds. These slow-to-grow plants will be available mid-June.
